How The Excess Fat All Started And Where It Rests
The human body has always fascinated me. As I grew older, I began to realize that everything is controlled by the brain. I did not know that hormones are triggered by the brain to affect different parts of the body, causing a chain reaction, positively or negatively throughout the body.
Of course, this is a simple way of explaining it. So, let’s inject some clarity into the mix. Think about it. The difference between today’s society and what it was several decades ago, is that then, work was not behind a desk for hours at a time, staring at a computer screen. No, people were active, on their feet in fields or barns. The work was physical, that was all that was available. People ate whatever they wanted. They had toned bodies because they burned far more calories than they consumed. They consumed healthy, pesticide-free foods, drank clean non-chlorinated water, and got plenty of fresh air, exercise and sleep.
Unfortunately, most of us work indoors now in window-less office buildings and eat tons of convenient fast foods, drink tasty drinks laden with preservatives, refined sugars, man-made ingredients and toxic additives. Let’s not forget the endless hours of sitting and inhaling heaven knows what in rooms and offices artificially lit and infused with recycled air and chemicals. Can you see the pattern here? Do you wonder why we are so prone to diseases, stresses, excess body fat etc.?
We are all victims here, no matter how careful and ‘sensible’ we try to be. Our best option is to try and eliminate these ‘bad guys’ as much as possible. Society is what it is. Naturally, that’s easier said than done. We are accustomed to our comfortable lifestyles – ready to eat meals, laden with preservatives to increase shelf life, tons of refined sugars, remotes for T.V.’s, blinds, lights, robots performing household chores, etc., because we need recreation time with our families and friends. The vicious cycle continues. One look at the picture above, heaping bowls of 'tasty ice-cream and candy', but filled with refined sugars and unhealthy fats - a deadly combination that should be avoided as much as possible.
I have created a Free e-Report with 4 Important Keys to help you identify and eliminate the reasons for the excessive fat and weight gain. I urge you to get it right here on this website and read it. It is very helpful and informative.
Self preservation is Nature’s first law for every living creature and organism and homo sapiens is at the top of the list. Our bodies have naturally devised a plan to keep us alive, not always healthy, i.e. storage of unfamiliar, unwanted elements, by containing them in layers of fat cells in specific parts of the body, belly, legs, thighs, arms and butts etc. The storage of fat is just one example. There are many others, but since we are dealing with weight gain presently, we will stick to the storage of fat. The more the weight gain, the more difficult it becomes to change our unhealthy life styles.
As a result of our unhealthy life styles, we permit the entry of the ‘big guns’…… heart disease, hypothyroidism, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, stress disorders, bowel disorders, bulimia, overeating and a myriad of other ailments. BUT… there is hope at the end of the tunnel. We have to become the stalwarts and protagonists. The good news is that we can with a little help, improve the situation. We now know some of the causes for our weight gain. We now need to be realistic, positive and determined to reduce, once and for all, the size of those fat cells. We need to start watching what we eat, avoiding pesticide and hormone infused foods. Eat fresh and clean instead. We can still tell manufacturers what we want. After all, they depend on our buying power to increase their pocket sizes. Most importantly, get active and keep moving. You can be any age, just keep moving with some degree of comfort and we can add meditation for centering our minds. We can and we must be pro-active, consistent and determined. In the end, we will be successful. Remember, Mother Nature is on our side. Is that not a pleasant thought to end on?
